    Hello,

    I haven't done any river fishing, with a fly rod yet, mainly small lakes and a few ponds in my area, Sioux Cty. I between Lemars and Sioux Center, or about 45mins NW of Sioux City. I have heard the the Sioux river is great for bass and walleyes.

    mickalo, Where are you in NW Iowa. I'm seeking info about river fishing (flyrod) in the region. I drove from Spencer toward Omaha this fall along the Little Sioux, and it looked fishy. Any info on river fishing for bass, sunfish etc?
