One does not need to see everything clearly to know which direction to go.

Can you see the tiny brook trout stream in the tree line? It is there and calling out to you.

Can you feel the moisture in the air? Does the smell after the rain make you smile?

Wisconsin winters can be long and harsh here. The only saving grace is spring is usually not far behind.

I am like a kid waiting for santa come. My trout season can not open soon enough.
