Fooling a trout with my Royal Coachman;
At one with nature, a moment sublime;
Flies are fished either wet or dry;
With vise and feathers one does ply;
Philosophy, ethics, morality he cries;
In eulogy for a great fly fisher it was said;
Neatness and precision are my demise;
About W.J. MalloryW.J. Mallory was born and raised in western Washington around Puget Sound. A retired instructional systems designer from Ford Motor Company, he and his wife own and operate Driftwood Shores Resort in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Bill is also the Secretary-Treasurer of the Au Sable Manistee Action Council, a Michigan-based environmental group. He started writing poetry in 1998.
