HOST REE

Ron Eagle Elk

I've been fly fishing and tying for close to 40 years. I started fly fishing for warmwater species in North Carolina, targeting Bass, Crappie and the everpresent Bluegills.

I also started making the transition to cold water fish in the mountains of North Carolina, continueing in Germany and Austria, Montana, Wyoming and of course, Washington.

Since taking up residence in Washington I have spent most of my time fishing the Deschutes River (in WA), the Skookumchuck, Nisqually, and the Cowlitz rivers.

My wife of four years, Vickie, is my fishing and fly tying partner. Watching her get into a nice fish is almost as much fun as doing it myself.
