A rare opportunity to fish in New Zealand

I recently realized a longheld dream to own a motorhome and be able to move
about on leisurely extended fishing trips around New Zealand, (N.Z.)

A buddy from the UK was to join me in the New year (late Feb approx.) for the
first expedition of 5 or 6 wks. and had eagerly booked his air along with other
arrangements. Unfortunately he recently received some very distressing health news
and has been forced to cancel.

Therefore a rare opportunity now exists albeit at short notice for a suitable person
to take up on the offer, namely:-

A 5 or 6 week tour of the North and South Islands primarily fishing. The
schedule and itinerary would be very flexible and tailored to suit. eg sightseeing
or other interests.

Expenses would be on a cost/share basis for fuel, food, cooking gas and related costs,
however overall cost would be minimal compared to the norm.

Altho it is anticipated we would be mostly freshwater fly fishing, the motor/home can carry
a small aluminum boat so it is envisaged some saltwater fishing would be undertaken
as well. From time to time will probably be getting to some more remote areas seldom
visited by tourists.

For overall comfort and convenience would best suit a person on their own, but at a
pinch could probably accommodate two.

Requirements: Have 5 or 6 weeks available to start from Auckland approx
late Jan thru to late Feb. then five or six weeks after the chosen start date
for the duration of the trip. It would be possible to extend the time but 5 or
6 weeks would be min. time required to enjoy the total experience at a relaxed pace.

Competency level not important as would suit beginner thru to expert, compatibility
and ability to enjoy themselves, of far more consequence.

Would prefer a non smoker, but could tolerate a considerate smoker.
