I live on a small 50 acre lake where a family of five Canada Geese stays year round and flocks of a dozen or so migratory geese show up at any given time. Believe me, they leave a lot more than just feathers on the lawn. I thought I was going to have to put chains on my riding lawnmower tires to keep from sliding into the lake. Even with the geese moulting feathers every year, it's illegal to pick them up. I can mow over them, but I can't pick them up. Govenrment logic at it's finest.

Pretty birds, but they sure are messy
