A #12 or #14 Adams-
A #12 or #14 Adams-
My guess would be the Adams. While there are other popular flies, like the woolly bugger, the Adams is more difficult to tie and is probably purchased more.
I must admit thought, mcsteff's "the one on Levi's Jeans" is good one!

"Because by the Grace of God I can, be on a beautiful mountain stream with a friend , have the water boil from a 12" Native Brookie taking a self tyed dry,and feel it on the end of my cane... It don't get no better than that..."
I believe it used to be the Adams but I think the Elk Hair Caddis has passed it now.
IM gonna go with Jack's answer...Woolly Buggers
I think I read somewhere that it is a Copper John, which kind of suprised me since I've never used one. I'm a bit "out of the loop" and tend to gravitate away from yuppie flies.
Pray, do tell Mrs. Ladyfisher!! The suspense it too great!!
