    Default A more traditional version of the Adams

    I took this pic with the flies on a mirror so they could be seen more like the trout sees them.Both flies are tied in the semi-spent way Mr. Halladay first tied the Adams. Note how obvious the wings appear from underneath.AAAAAAAAh.Here is a similar comparison of a modern Adams compared to the original style

    Thank you. I?m trying to explain the semi-spent wings of Halladay?s original Adams fly.
