Thread: Jiggy Ant

    I've seen numerous wet/sinking/drowned ant patterns, but I have never seen a jiggy one. Figured I'd try to make that a reality. I know subsurface ants, and really any terrestrial for that matter, work really well; this should hopefully be no different. I plan on dropping this off the back of a small beetle pattern or something of the sort for those tight little blue lines.



    Hook: Firehole 516, Size 18
    Thread: Veevus 14/0, Black
    Bead: Black Miyuki Mini-Drop, 2.8mm
    Body: Black Ice Dub
    Hackle: Black Hen
    Glad I can whip finish because I sure as hell can't double haul...

    I like this pattern. Original and it will work great for my fishing. Thanks for sharing it.
