This is the first fly that came out of my vice last night. Tied at hook #14
It need some fine-tuning but it could be worser..... what do you think?

I've tied and caught fish on much worse.

It took my quite a few flies before mine started to look as good as your first one. Very nice!

Pretty darn good job. It will fool fish>
Looks like it fool plenty of fish. My first fly was a Mosquito and it looked like I just glued some feathers onto a hook, I caught a 26 inch 6lb rainbow in it. The fish don't care what it looks like as long as they are on the hunt for food. Nice fly IMHO.
