Whitewolf,
Really sorry to read of your misfortune. But heartened when I read that in spite of it - you are remaining true to what is right.
Praying for you.

Yup. I am supposed to be enjoying the AZ sun....but it is stressful dealing with all the issues now. It has happened to others so I am not destroyed by it. It is but just a bump in the road of life. Not the end of it. I trust somewhere down the line...a few years from now God willing I will still be on this planet, doing something, somewhere.....so it is just an inconvience.
I came on here to ask admin to delete this thread. But it is comforting to see the comments of others. tks

Hi Jim, That is really a shame to be victimized like that. It would be nice to have the thieves caught and your treasures returned. I will pray for that. Jim
I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim
One really cannot grasp the significance of this kind of "event" until it happens to YOU. Jim, I'm with you in spirit, I know the feeling and the experience. Like you say, the paper work and having to figure out what was what and what you had.
Good luck, and cling to the thought that there is a higher law of reciprocity, call it Karma if you like, that will revisit and repay the culprits many times over.
Jim,
Really hated to her this, but, this sort of thing seems to be happening more and more lately. One thing you can do is keep a check on your local Pawn shops to see if any of these items show up. The down side of this is to be able to prove that what you find there is yours. One thing that you can do ( and I need to do it myself ) is to take a picture of things you purchase to replace lost items and make sure the picture has the Model and S/N number showing. With the new digital cameras, this would be the best way to prove that the item found in the Pawn shop is yours.
Good luck and keep the faith...

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
I had a hunting pack stolen on a very short flight from Kodiak to Anchorage many years ago. I filled out the insurance forms and was treated properly by the insurance company, but over time realized I had forgotten a lot of stuff that had to have been in that pack. The pack itself was many hundreds of dollars and a Zeiss ClassiC binocular bumped the money up significantly...
I cannot begin to imagine remembering more than a fraction of what was lost. And I have a memory most would have killed for.
That sucks but remember they can't steal the memory's.
