The lodge, Campfire Lodge was where we stayed and believe me when I say it was wonderful. It's owned and operated by Jim Slattery and his wife Wendy. Some of you may know him. Great folks, great food and a fine fly shop, right on the Madison River.
Inside our cabin at the lodge...
The Madison, directly behind the lodge. Yup, right on the river!!

We fished the Madison, the Gibbon, the Galatin and the Firehole in the park.
We took a bunch of these guys all on dries...
And these two prevented us from getting off the river at one point...
Thankfully they decided not to bed down on the footpath!
Nope, we weren't dishing in the dark. I'm not a camera guy so I'm not sure what happened there.
We made the typical stops to the local haunts and picked up supplies...to include "bug spray"....aka bear spray.
All in all a fine trip to some wonderful country for a couple of old _arts....*grins*
