I second the quality of Veevus. Excellent thread in an array of sizes and available at most online shops now, too. I've wanted to try the MFC thread but have had the same problem of finding it.

    Joe,
I currently use Veevus. However, Bucky ay Blue Ribbon Flies got me into the Montana thread 5-6 years ago. He is big on it and ties 900 dozen fles a year for BRF!
    They definitely carry it.

Thanks, Byron. I'll get some from them and try it out.
For those of you who have used both, how does MFC and Veevus compare?

    Joe,
The thing about Veevus is that they make it very fine. You can get it in 14/0
