    Byron that will work, no doubt..... Here's another little trick I use for this fly. Oversize the hackle by a couple of sizes, for instance a #12 hackle on a #16 hook, trim the bottom and sides as you wish but leave the top.... easy to see and it still lies flat in the water... TL, Dougie.

    Byron, I'm on my way to Gardiner now, currently in route in Iowa, should be fishing the river by Sunday!
