Byron,

F.Y.I. it would appear that Craig is now using UV2 dubbing for his X Caddis patterns...

From the June 6, 2013 Newsletter:

"Our infatuation with UV Dubbings continues as we fashion more and more patterns from these great dubbing blends. From dry-fly midges, mayflies and caddis to subsurface flies like scuds and stone fly nymphs as well as mayfly emergers these dubbings have found their way into our fly tying kits and onto our fly desk at BRF. Everyone of us are sold on the effectiveness of these dubbings and are using them in many of our flies now. I tie many of my PMD and BWO Sparkle Duns with the "fine and dry" blends and use the nymph and caddis blends for Iris and X Caddis as well as emergers and nymphs. You can count on a couple 2014 BRF Flies tied using these UV dubbing blends."
