Apparently I have had better luck than most with the Cabela's waders. I probably use mine about 20 times per year and have had them for about six years. The built-in neoprene gaiters are getting pretty frayed around the bottoms, but I have had no leaks, and I frequently wade through some pretty rough brush to get to the water. The last time I had them on I noticed my pants were damp on the lower legs, and I have noticed the external fabric of the waders staying wet for a while after I get out of the water. They apparently need a reapplication of DWR. Time to go to Wally World for a can of Scotchguard DWR. I may have to break down and buy a new set of waders for next year.
