    He does indeed. Guides out of kayaks, spin or fly. One of the best redfish guides down there, and used to be Outdoor Editor of our paper. Didn't know he'd been on FAOL.
    His business, I believe, is called Southern Drawl Guide service. Or just Google him; he'll show up in a lot of places.

    i read the question and thought Sarasota before I read the responses. Snook ten feet from shore is alone enough reason to go. Note that you can do Tampa and fish Sarasota the same day. Lots of entertainment for the whole family in the area including one of the best shell collecting beaches anywhere at Captiva.
