Default Landing net

Anyone here know of an Internet resource, or book on building a laminated hardwood Landing net. I looked everywhere I could think of and got skunked.
Thank you for any help; John

Rusty, ...

I'm not much of a woodworker, ... so I'll let Diane answer.

Just wanted to stick my nose in to send a Warm Welcome to the Board.

Don't be a stranger.

Welcome aboard. Been doing some searching for you while at work here tonight. Go to search and type in - Brooks Fly Fishing Club - Click on their web site and scroll down thru it to- net building activity - click on the link and it shows you some steps they took in building some laminated nets. It is not complete instructions but it gives you enough to maybe make a start. Hope this helps and I will keep looking.

Welcome to the board.
An overview of the process can be had here[/url:aa58d]. Here on FAOL we have this[/url:aa58d] by Clive Schaupmeyer. Wait around. You'll get more responses.
Once again, what Chris said, Welcome and don't be a stranger.

I'm back rustyhOOk, I found another for you. Try this one , joelwoodworks.com , when the web results come up look for the one that says, Custom fly fishing landing net construction. Click on it and he has all the steps you need.

rustyh00k;
Welcome to the best site around. New guy's have to make the coffee and chop wood. Remember to wipe your feet and no cleats in the clubhouse.
You've already got a lot of help in your quest and that what it's all about.

This has been a recurring thought of mine too, that is to make landing nets out of exotic woods. But, where do you buy the nets?

I've never built a landing net but here's a link to an online tutorial:
