Does anyone know where the CDC feather chart by Hans Weilenmann can be viewed on line? The article "KORN'S CDC - SPENT-WING CADDIS SBS Doug Korn" references it but all my searches are coming up blank.
Thanks, John

Thanks John and Scott you both were "right on". I have what I wanted. Created a reference document for myself but it is to large to attach here.
Wish there was a way of sharing, but I don't know it.

The only high-quality CDC I have found was attached to ducks I have shot. The stuff you get in the stores varies from fairly good to utter and complete garbage, depending on brand (this is my own opinion, others may disagree). I use what Hans would call type 1 and type 4 feathers for wings on caddis, mayflies, and midges, and set the rest aside for a use I have yet to determine. For wings, I prefer the feather to have a little rigid structure to it rather than complete limpness. Couple snappy false casts and you are fishing again with a dried out fly.

John,
Glad it helped.

ps - best quality CDC I've had came from Trouthunters. I also get it in bulk on EBay; quality's not as good, but for the CDC & Elk I tie it works just fine.
I won't say anything bad about a brand of CDC, I won't say anything bad...
