Nice looking fishy water, great looking fish. Were you in the picture, PRM?

Here is an older photo of me with a flattie... Got one this past summer on a fly that was almost three times the weight of this one, ~80 pounds. That is Uganik Bay on Kodiak Island in the background.

eta: the fish this past summer was caught on exactly the same rig, a 9' 12wt Penn Int'l rod and a Hardy Husky reel. Large bunny flies work beautifully...

    Hap,

Wow! I can't even begin to imagine what that fight was like. Thanks for sharing.

Me.JPG I ain't perty, but there are a few goofier looking guys standing in the water. Not many, but a few.

    O.K. I'll bite:

Me on the beach in Roatan and tying at the 2011 Federation of Fly Fishers Southern Council Conclave where I've tyed most years since '87.

By the way, I too love my Wiemaraner (my family has owned Weimaraners off and on since 1956), and I'm just about to decide that I really don't like Hap... or it may be that I'm just really, really jealous! HA!

But the shadow box with the ferns is really cool, though! Formal or not it's nice to be able to put a face with the name.
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.
