Right now, with the high water from the main stem of the river nearby, the spring is probably up 2-feet and a little off-colored. In fact, this past week they bumped the flow to around 21,000 cfs (not a typo), when this happens a natural barrier is overflowed and the spring will get a pretty good scour. Could be good, could be bad, depends on how long it lasts.
Idaho is the place and less than an hour from my home.
