That looks pretty neat! How did you color the eyes?

Fingernail polish! I noticed in most of JPL's patterns that use beadchain eyes, he paints them. Usually orange or chartreuse.

I've seen painted beadchain available for purchase from some websites that sell fly-tying materials.

Or, you could use Testor's model paints.
