Thanks guys for the welcome .... picked up the perch out of my boat... #6 rod... with a #14 Prince, split shot 1/2 way down the leader, floating line... blew through 4 flys due to pike and walley hits and had to switch to a # 14 hairy prince..... great fun on a fly rod... have to admit only 5 were mine ( 5 were my buddies - that's legal limit here - and Barbless) but we C & R'ed about 20+ each over 4 hours. The trout were taken on #12 Hares Ears (Barbless - that's the law here). For some reason the trout love them where I fish....Lots of fish per mile.... usally C & R around 10+ every time I'am out........thanks again ....

I caught his mate that day too! Didn't catch anything else the rest of the day. The river gods gave me the browns that day though!
