Nice fish, I much prefer pictures of fish to picturs of bent rods.

Nice fish-porn. I see either you or that Stonefly drinks PBR. Thanks for the memories. I used to drink that when I was in the Army back in '68 & '69.

Wow, That is a BEAUTIFUL BROOKIE!!!

I was thinking I didn't have any "action" shots like this...but found a couple from last year....both with GRASS CARP on!
This one on an 8wt...I never landed this one:

And this one on a 5wt. I DID land this one...36.5" and ~25 lbs.

Yep, then you got Rock Creek and the Blackfoot in there too. Oh, lets not forget about the middle d, somewhere between Benaham Falls and Lake Billy. Lots of fun there too. Got to love when the Deschutes runs through your back yard!

    Oh ya, some Brookie lovin

ok, I'll play...yes, that is me walking on water, which is much more amazing than the "taco" effect IMHO...

The absolute BEST way to taco a fly rod is this:

sorry, no action shots with it...but it was fun...that was the first time I thought I had a good chance of breaking a fly rod on a fish...even though it was a 12wt.

Nice pics there. Gotta love the Deschutes eh, Clark! That tuna would make for some good eats! I hope to come back from the D again this weekend with some more tacos and maybe something for the BBQ
