    marty..thanks. yesterday, coincidence or not, i went and bought wood to make a frame for my favorite pepper photo.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. Our dogs stick with us through everything, and when they pass, they are never really gone.

    Oh, Wes, I am so sorry to hear about Pepper. I know how hard this is.

    I have not read the whole thread, but how about visiting a shelter and walking a few of the dogs that lost their families for whatever reason? You would have a lot in common. Not to take one home, you understand, just to share some time.

    Wes, the picture you posted has "sweet pup" written all over it. I know that you will miss her. I still miss dogs gone since my youth. But I suspect her time with you was worth it. Dogs are like that. They are members of the family. It is, I think, their keenest desire.

    than ks kevin and ed. i been looking around at the available shelters to visit but ain't ready yet. i guess it'd be sort of like loosing a girlfriend and jumping into a new relationship in a week.
