Uhh, I looked at the Yellowstone off the Gardiner bridge less than 2 minutes ago and we have a solid two feet of visibility. We floated yesterday and boated about a dozen in the high teens on streamers.

Winter was warm and dry, but spring has been exceptionally cold and wet. We have had two 3-4 day spurts of runoff, but the river has barely even touched average flows for the date. In terms of the "river course changing, trees floating downstream, less visibility than a sewage treatment pond" meaning of runoff, it hasn't even started yet. I'm pushing my predictions for various hatches back and back. Two months ago I thought runoff might be over by June 10, now it might be the first of July.
