    Default shooting rest/bench

Sorry, I know that this is not (normally) fly fishing related.....looking for a shooting bench for range use/sighting. Had a caldwell lead sled slip through my fingers....any help would be appreciated.
    Thnx,
    Mike K.

Boy I could only imagine how you feel about loosing out on that bench.

I have a caldwell bench at camp and they are really nice...

Sorry I don't have a lead for you other than their website...

    Good luck..

Are you using it to sight in?

The bench is usually made out of Concrete for competition use and the rest consists of a front pedestal with a bag and a rear bag. I know that the lead sled had some recoil reduction associated with it, so you know what you had before and perhaps now is the time to consider what other options are available.

Sinclair caters to many of the bench rest types:

Bald Eagle and Protecktor bags are the most popular.

Google concrete shooting bench and all kinds of plans come up. Good luck.

Primary purpose for now would be for sighting in. Needs to be portable....no range/place to shoot in the area. Thanks for the leads and help thus far.
