ignore list

As a well known provocateur on this board, I really think ignore lists should be ignored.
Seriously...I did read all of your posts Gemrod and although I feel your frustration I've never put anyone on my ignore list.
To me it's censorship which (unless applied to the security of our country and those Bulgarian porn sites) I've always found adherent.
Having said that...If someone puts me on their ignore list, and no doubt I'm on many, it's their....

I think it would be fun if I could look at someone's profile and see who has them on an ignore list...I bet I could make some friends that way.

Well i just took a look at your profile maodiver and you've had 480 ppl trampin' around in there if that says anything...doubt it...but they're all pretty cool ppl !

You guys are all more level headed, cool thinking mature people. I am not there yet. I try to work on it. But I backslide. I try to think that it is just a website and ignore it...pun intended....and let it run off like water off a duck's back. But some people really get my dander up. I don't mean just for me. I hate it when anyone puts down a poster asking for help. That's what this place is all about. Getting help from others. When someone pulls that holier than thou crap on someone looking for help or advice...I go ballistic. That's a demon in my own head and I know it. They also say when you see a rattlesnake freeze. Just try it. I dare you. I was looking around in sparse weeds for things to throw at a rattler about 8' away. My truck ran over him on a dirt road and injured him. After about 5 minutes I noticed the big black and white rings of another coon tailed rattler withing 12" of my foot! Freeze? not....I swear I was 15' from the road.....and landed in it!

Anywhooo.....I don't have the class you guys have. But I am trying to get there. But censorship it is not. I am not stopping anyone from posting. I just have the ability to not turn the radio dial to punk rock music, porn video.....etc. I have a choice.

That is the beauty of this website. I can tune to the people I want to read, and I am not forced to see posts I most likely will not appreciate too much. So it makes it a much smoother experience for me to visit the website. I am only controlling the knob on what I want to see. Should be nothing wrong with that I think.

But I have spoken on here far too much lately. That is why I deleted my first long post. But figured I should put it back for Betty's sake.

I shall now go into hiding for a long long time. Because I do not want to pester you guys so much. Not a threat or hidden meaning or nothing like that. I am pretty sure I am wearing out my welcome. I shall wait till I have something intelligent to say, or something that I think will help someone before I post again. THAT could be a very very long time indeed!

uh.....thanks for listening everybody. Not too many people get by with venting on this website. I got's that off my chest and will leave you all alone for awhile.

But I will keep reading....'tis the best read for me I can find.

Jim hang around and keep posting, don't think you have torqued off anyone with this one.

A problem I can see with blocking someone is if I ask a question and someone I have blocked answers it, then I come back in to the thread and bitch about the answers I have received, it makes me look like an idiot.

I don't need help looking like an idiot, so I won't be blocking anyone.

Besides so far anyone I have seriously considered blocking has been kicked off the board due to there actions soon after I considered blocking them so I didn't need to.

Just my thoughts
