    Another option is Callaway Gardens south of Atlanta. They stock some of their lakes with large trout in the winter. I think this is a float tube experience. It's a little pricey for me but Callaway runs a good operation.

    This will give you state regulation and info on year around streams for trout. I think you can buy your license on line probably pick the dates and have them before you come down if you like.
