    First test:

    Pool and back yard casting with sinking line(150 grain I think).

    It feels about perfect from butt to tip. Feels like a linear flow from butt to tip. It feels like the same tension throughout the whole rod. I've used some "bass rods" that had plenty of butt but a whippy tip. You can't cast heavy flies well with that set up.
    Tip does not feel too stiff.
    40 feet flies out with no problem.

    So far so good. More to come................
