Welcome aboard from south Texas. I just got back from a trip to the Lower Mountain Fork River where midges were the ticket. The smaller the better. The BWO's hatched like crazy for a couple of hour's when the sun popped out. My best luck came from a #18 gray soft hackle with a black body tied very sparce. Wish a would have had more and maybe a little smaller. Let us know a little more about that midge pattern when you can.
