I went to throw ice melter out yesterday morning onto the sidewalk, as the snow started to finally stick, and discovered a rather large black widow on the back side of the bag. She now resides in a clear plastic magnifying "bug box" on the front counter at work.

    Happy halloween!

PS: when showing such a spider to a coworker, be careful to NOT drop the bug box on the floor where it springs open and lets the spider make a run for it. Just a thought.
