I enjoyed reading your report. I used to drive from Denison Tx to CB once a month for about a year before moving to CB. Lived there for a couple of years. But it has been a number of years since I was there. I recognize the bank on the Lake fork in one of your pictures.

Learned to fly fish there.

I likewise never fished Cement Creek though I have eaten at the Cement Creek Tavern a number of times.

CB what a place. 700 full time residents. Twenty plus reasturants. Most of them are excellent. I miss Power House & tequila shots, The Last Steep, Teacali Tamale, Slogars, Pitas in Paradise, Paradise Cafe, Wooden Nickel, Buffalo Grill, Marchitelli's Gourmet Noodle, Bachanalles and La Bosque.

But ya had to drive to Montrose to find good Chinese food.

Miss the Dragonfly Angler and the Willow Fly also.
