The more I look at the picture, the more I am sure this is ridiculous. No way is that a second mouth. That's the fish's tongue. It probably got hooked or someone unhooked it poorly or who knows, but if you look at the true lower jaw, there appears to be no meat between the bones. I mean to say that the "second lower jaw" could be pushed back up. I think this was two guys who don't know what they're talking about. I wonder if the expert out there saw the actual fish for real or is basing his statement on what the angler told him.

Funny though, this is making national news. I even saw it on the elevator news monitor in my office building here on Park Ave. in NYC.
