First fish on a fly I tied about 3 weeks ago. We were at Camp Tahosa near Ward, Colorado doing a Fly Fishing Merit Badge Course. Since I can't cast, they had me teach the boys some basic flies.

This one was on a vinyl ribbed nymph. After dinner, while everyone else was complaining they hadn't caught anything, I caught a half dozen more on a #16 Royal Coachman Dry that I had tied a couple of days before for kicks and giggles.

He wasn't big, but he sure tasted good!
