Western Portland Metro Area Fly Club

I would like to join a fly fishing club in my area (West of Portland, OR) and was wondering if any of you had any suggestions. I was in a club before I moved here and really miss it, but haven't found one (mostly due to procrastination) in the two and a half years I have lived here. It would also be fun to actually meet someone from FAOL in person.

I'm not meaning to promote other forums but if you haven't already go to [url=http://www.westfly.com:b3ad4]www.westfly.com[/url:b3ad4] and checkout the Oregon forum. It is geographically specific enough to be sort of clublike.

It's a real treat to meet a member face to face! We do not have a club here and it would be nice to have one. The closest is about 60 miles away and in the winter that's not good!

Check out Ronn Lucas...he's a sponsor here and fairly close to you and recently has formed a group...some recent thread....but I'm not sure it may be Salmon Fly oriented.

H - Be sure to fish Hagg Lake for smb when it is time. You are real close to that place. Lotsa good sized smb there.
