Thread: Streamside Drinks...

  1. Default Streamside Drinks...

What do you like to drink while fishing, before fishing, or after fishing? For me it is Blue Powerade!

Before fishing coffee, during fishing water, after fishing a combination of Jack Daniels, 7-UP and cranberry juice. I call it saw gas because it looks like chain saw gas mixed up. But it drinks alot better.

I forgot to mention, I also like the bottled variety of Starbucks coffee drinks...

Coke , Pepsi , ice blue powerade .
I like the bottled frappachino from starbucks too but If I bought those I couldn't afford gas to get to the fishing .

    Mike,

Starbucks bottled coffe drinks? Kinda like the large Frappacinno Mocha I'm slammin down right now. You better believe it. On a warm day nothing is better than an icey cold mocha frappi.

On a cold wet day of winter steelheading nothing beats a thermos full of Almond Latte, very hot.

Here in the Rockies, dehydration is a real problem that is not helped by caffeine or alcohol laden drinks. My preference is Gatorade or bottled water, and save the other stuff for when you get back home or in camp.

It doesn't matter much to me...I take a thermos of coffee if I get out early but seldom drink over a cup or two even at home. Water, pop or whatever if I'm thirsty.
I never drink alcohol when I'm fishing, hunting or driving and never before 4 pm.
But there is no one that enjoys a beer more than I do.
