Thread: Clear olive thread?

Hybrid View

Roman Moser offers a GSP thread in olive that is pretty darned translucent, not to mention obscenely difficult to break despite it's size. Hille's in Williamsport Pa distributes RM stuff.....

    Wink Horse Tail

I use a PMD color Horse Tail (can order from Feather Craft). Will put on a 14/0 olive thread underbody, then horse tail tied in and wrapped up the hook very closely; coat with Wet & Wild Rock Solid nail polish; the head wil be a light dubbed Olive Ice dubbing.
You can use yellow thread underbody, & the Horse Tail will take on that color. Notice that you will get the nice segmentation & tranluscence. I use Black Horse Tail also . Use this for insect bodies (ie. my Horse's *** PMD etc.)
