Matt,

I have seen the Hardy Saint John before and heard nothing but good things about it. I know a man who uses one for salmon fishing with a Sage Z-axis and he says they work well together. His however, is a newer model that was just re-released a few years ago. I think only 100 of these were made though. not sure.
