there is no guarantee of how long that situation will last, with the new digital broadcasting to begin in February, but it was sure neat to try out the HD before we paid to upgrade the cable service.
All's i wish is that they wouldn't pan in so close to the pitcher during the World Series--perspiration and blemishes are no better bigger!

That situation will not change. The stations that you are receiving must be early adopters of the change. Like in my area, all of the stations are already broadcasting in both the digital and analog frequencies. The transition to digital is to remove the analog frequencies. Not all stations will necessarily be HD signals however.
