A work of art! Gorgeous flies Grayghost. I'm jealous.

Awesome! Beyond my abilities at this point. Makes my flies look like wadded up toilet paper! (clean toilet paper)

GG,
The free style atlantic has great lines. The tail/topping are almost a mirror image of the hook/crest below. It's hard to tell about the floss work as my image is small, but the colors work very well together and the beads add some bulk to the body. Very attractive. To me the gut loop looks a bit long. The head reminds me more of a modern spey or dee dressing, small and long, rather than the short, fatter "bullet" heads of the more classic salmon flies. I also like the reverse mirroring of color between the wing/throat and the tag/tail veiling.
The emerger looks very good. Nice buggy body, nice sizing on the hackle (I like mine about 1 1/2 to 2 times larger than normal). The hackle appears to curve up from the base of the post. Is this to allow the body to sit lower in the surface film? What hook did you use?
Great flies!

Ron I was not realy that happy with the floss work on the atlantic, or the gut loop, not my best work. the hook of the emerger is a klinkinhammer hook by partridge size 18 and yes it the hackle was clipped to make it sit lower in the water as an emerging caddis or mayfly.
Ghost.
GG, I didn't think that hackle was an accident. Good thinking. Have you seen these yet? http://www.gamakatsu.com/new_products/new_c15bv.htm
