Excuse my spelling and grammar, I hooked Mondays and Fridays to either fish or hunt.
One thing you can do is to look back there at your backcast and see exactly what's going on. Just turn your body sideways and look over your shoulder and see if you can't figure out where you're going wrong.

Benjo just made a good point, there is nothing wrong with watching your backcast! I've been in situations where I've had to make a backcast into a tree between the branch's and you can't do that without watching!
