WOOO HAAA!!
I just furled my second leader with out hanging it with the weight!!
While fishing Saturday Warren told me of his experiance of hooking a snap swivel at the tippet end of the V and lifting the legs off the post.
Yeah, sure Warren! (time to get the rubber room ready!!)
This morning I worked up the courage to give it a try using the cheapest thread I've got. As he had told me nothing will happen untill you move the swivel forward a bit. He had mentioned how fast it furls but I almost dropped the swivel when the thing went Ziiiiip and was furled!!
I layed up and twisted another one using a combonation of clear nylon and flourocarbon. This time I fashioned a large paper clip into a handle for the snap swivel. Well, it was furlled in about 2 seconds!!
I've been measuring my leaders to see the differance in various materials and usually come up 7'2" or 7'3". This one came up 7'1"! Is the furl tighter or is the weight inducing some streatch?
