Smallest fish you ever caught?

Well it's not a fish but during the fish-in I was up the Selway river relaxing on a rock. I did catch a spider by teasing it with a #24 griffith gnat tied on about 12 inches of 1lb test tippet. It hit in a rush and I instinctively jerked the tippet causing it to become impaled. I should have mounted it on a pin for my trophy room.

By the way Big Bad Wulff If I am anybody to go by, I think your signature is the most read one of anybody on here. For some strange reason it always catches my eye.

I have caught many small bluegill and bass, A few SMALL trout, But none as small as this guy!

So what's the smallest fish you have ever caught?

That fish is HUGE. That isn't anywhere close to the smallest fish I've caught. Even the sculpin I caught one day isn't my smallest. My smallest fish was a green sunfish of about two inches.

I recently moved to Nebraska and I really wanted a Largemouth on the fly. Well, I got it! Not exactly what I was looking for. I have since tried to avoid fishing in the nursery



Since then, they are a bit bigger, unless they are egotistical and hungry! Maybe a few years he'll put up a good fight!


BTW, I couldn't even compete in the LARGEST fish thread. I mind as well shoot for the smallest

So is a Largemouth Bass that small REALLY a LARGEmouth or is it a small Largemouth or possibly a small mouthed Largemouth...

...sorta like jumbo shrimp...
