Wonderful slideshow, and some of those pictures are just brilliant, especially those big browns.

I'll put it on my list of places to visit in the upcoming seasons!

    Thanks!

Well, yes, NW Illinois is part of the Driftless but, being Ill-annoys, it's the only part without trout!
    Great slide show, BTW.
Are any of those monster browns planted brood stock? I know they used to stick those in Castle Rock. In any event, I think those biggies should be removed from the streams. They're cannibals!

no brown or brookies are stocker/brooders...

    ALL bows are brooders.

    I don't fish C/R only areas.....lunker structures.....

    I consider them PETTING ZOOS

I've never fished that area but maybe someday...

I've still got my hands full trying to explore water out here in Oregon...

love those big browns and brookies though...

I'm envious of the fish - but the pic with the cows made me pee my pants.
However - I'm am a little miffed at Wisconsin - they beat up on my poor hapless Hawkeyes from Iowa this past weekend.
Thank God for my wife, the midge nymph and those hapless Iowa Hawkeyes!
