Orvis CFO fly reel - opinions please

The Vosseler reels are NICE. they have several different models and colors. I haven't bought mine yet, but have been using one. I want the RC-L in a Gold or the Green. One thing I feel I must tell you however. The recommended backing and the real amount of backing are two different things. It says you can put more on than you actually can, but it is nothing to worry about. You can still put plenty on.

Thank you, dear. I'll have to check them out. I think most reel manufacturer's over estimate the backing capacities.

If you want a traditional fly reel go with the "English" made CFO. But in my opinion the Ross, "Evelution", is a far more superior reel and they are American made. Yes, I own both.
