Hi, folks. Just want to let you know that tarpon are flitting around the passes in Gasparilla, Englewood and soon--I hope--off Casey Key.

I have trips booked the next two mornings, and will keep you posted on how things shake out.

Lots of Spanish mackerel around right now, and a 42-pound King mackerel was boated last week in the Sarasota tournament. Huge spawner snook will start cruising the beaches soon, too.
