Where does one find "poly yarn" other than in a fly shop? I was in both Joanne and AC Moore today and while I could find Acrylic, the nice lady who helped me said that poly yarn is not desirable and therefore pretty hard to find.

92Esquire I have checked Michaels, and Joanns and not found it. I get mine at the Creel or Little River or on line. If you ever find it some place local please let me know. John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

    Hi Group,

Gretchen and I worked/demo'd at Cabela's the last couple weekends and noticed they had poly yarn available. I have some in my personal stock if you can't find it locally that I can sell.

Is there a link to the instructions for this fly? I looked it up here and found it listed in FOTW, but when you click it's name, it says the URL cannot be found. Thanks!

    Default Strike indicator....

Looks like a good 'strike indicator'...
Not my choice though, I would use one with a large white 'up-right post".

    best wishes...
