Cow Creek Ranch - Pecos, NM

I posted on a forum on another site that I was planning a trip to Cow Creek Ranch, just to see if anyone had been there or knew anything about it. The only response I got was from a guy who said that it had been devastated in a forest fire in 2000 and the rivers declared dead by the state. Does anybody out there have any information on this?

In looking at the website, they have a picture of an old-looking fish label 2003 and charred trees in the background. That fire must not have been too hard on the ranch grounds.
