No snow in Boise either. A couple of days ago you could see it in the foothills North of here, but the visible stuff is all melted.
Growing up in Northern Illinois, I can remember in the mid 60's going cross country skiing on Thanksgiving in the area around Wauconda. Marco probably knows where that's at. It's been a long time since there's been that much snow around that area.
I know I miss the snow. Others around here think I'm crazy, but I find it relaxing and very peaceful to be out shoveling the driveway after dark during a nice snowfall. Even though it melts within a few hours of falling here, I still go out and do some shoveling.
